In New York City, Frank Dain has performed at Carnegie Hall / Weill Recital Hall, Rose Theater / Jazz at Lincoln Theater, Café Pierre, Waldorf Astoria’s Cocktail Terrace and Peacock Alley, The Town Hall, The National Arts Club, The Players, The Knickerbocker, Kitano Jazz, Don’t Tell Mama, the Metropolitan Room, The Laurie Beechman Theatre, Pangea, Chelsea Table + Stage, Urban Stages, and Danny’s Skylight Room. In Philadelphia, he played at the Prince Theater. He has released two CDs, I Thought About You and I’ve Had a Love, both of which received high praise. Dain has been the editor-in-chief of Cabaret Scenes magazine since 2003. He is the treasurer of the American Songbook Association, is on the advisory board of The Mabel Mercer Foundation, served on the Board of the Manhattan Association of Cabaret for eight years, and has been one of the permanent judges for the talent contest Mama’s Next BIG Act! since its inception.
