Family Matters: A Celebration of All Things Rodgers, Rodgers, and Guettel

After 32 wonderful years as a congregational rabbi, Deborah Zecher has embraced a “second act” career as a cabaret singer. In 2024 she presented Family Matters: A Celebration of All Things Rodgers, Rodgers & Guettel with her son, Joshua Zecher-Ross and director Lennie Watts. With Watts and musical director Tracy Stark, Ms. Zecher has presented two other cabaret shows in NYC: On Purpose, a music memoir about her life as rabbi, mom, wife and now—singer, and Jewish Caroling: The Music of Carole King, Carole Bayer Sager and Carolyn Leigh. She travels around the country as an artist-in-residence at synagogues, presenting musical programs on Jewish life through the prism of the American Songbook. She has also worked as a background extra for several TV shows including The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Madam Secretarydeborahzecher.com

Joshua Zecher-Ross has worked on hundreds of productions and performances as a music director, conductor, pianist, and arranger and is currently the music director of Operation Mincemeat at the Golden Theatre.
