Outstanding Tribute Show
girlSinger: A Celebration of Rosemary Clooney

A multiple MAC, Bistro, and Nightlife award–winning singer/songwriter, Carolyn Montgomery has performed in major venues across 36 states, as well as in Montreal, London, and Paris. She is the Executive Director of the American Songbook Association (ASA), a not-for-profit organization that brings music education to underserved public schools in all five boroughs of New York City as well as in Chicago. ASA proudly partners with Cabaret Scenes magazine as its official publication. Coverage of Montgomery’s success and innovation in her work at ASA, as well as in her career as a performer, was recently featured in Forbes magazine. She frequently appears on radio shows and podcasts across the country and in London, addressing the importance of her mission: to preserve, promote, and protect classic American musical legacies (jazz, musical theatre, and classic song) for future generations. She lives on the west side of Manhattan with her son Eli and her Jack Russell terrier, George. While she is enamored of her home base, she is also at home in the Adirondacks, Cape Cod, and Paris.
