Producer - Sherry Eaker

Sherry_EakerSherry Eaker is the producer of the annual Bistro Awards show and has kept the tradition of the Bistro Awards going since the passing in 1992 of its creator, Bob Harrington, the first "Bistro Bits" columnist. Sherry is the former longtime editor of Back Stage, the performing arts trade weekly that her father, Ira Eaker, founded in 1960. She compiled and edited four editions of the Back Stage Handbook for Performing Artists, and compiled and edited the Cabaret Artists Handbook. Sherry serves on the boards of the National Theatre Conference and the Cabaret Conference at Yale University, and is an advisor to the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs, the NY Coalition of Professional Women in the Arts & Media, and Theatre Resources Unlimited.
 

Associate Producer - Roy Sander

Roy Sander

Roy Sander has been covering cabaret and theatre for twenty-five years. He's written cabaret and theatre reviews, features, and commentary for seven print publications, most notably Back Stage, and for CitySearch on the Internet. He covered cabaret monthly on "New York Theatre Review" on PBS TV, and cabaret and theatre weekly on WLIM-FM radio. He was twice a guest instructor at the London School of Musical Theatre. A critic for BistroAwards.com, he is also the site's Reviews Editor; in addition, he is Chairman of the Advisory Board of MAC.

 

Associate Producer - Tanya Moberly

Tanya Moberly is the 2010, 2011, and 2012 MAC Award-winning producer of the Salon, hosted by Mark Janas. She has many theatre credits and has created and performed a number of cabaret shows including her most recent, “Tanya Lorraine Moberly Sings Barbra Joan Streisand.”(Broadway World Award nomination). In addition, she has also directed cabaret shows for Marnie Klar, and is the New York Director/Producer for True Colors, International.

 

Director - Shellen Lubin

Shellen Lubin has spent many years in both the cabaret and theatre worlds as a director, songwriter, and performer. She most recently directed Lainie Kazan in a concert reading of a new musical about Belle Barth at the Falcon Theatre in Burbank, California; Schatzie at Don't Tell Mama; and Steven Chera at the Metropolitan Room. She is currently directing and writing songs for Susan Merson's new play, Between Pretty Places. Shellen is also a private coach and serves as Co-President of the WAM Coalition (Women in the Arts and Media) and Co-Secretary of the League of Professional Theatre Women. Advertising Director - Kathleen France

Originally from Colorado, Kathleen France, a member of AEA, has worked internationally as a singer, actress, and dancer in theatrical tours and productions. She has performed voiceover work for Tokyo Disneyland, Sony Records in Japan, and has continued her voiceover career in NY with MTV Animation, and a number of commercials, promos, radio spots, public service announcements, and infomercials. Kathleen has been a narrator for NYC TV and cable channel 25′s Blueprint NYC (NY Emmy Awards, 2006, 2007). She is the new voice promoting Lincoln Center. Her debut cabaret show, The Book of Love, was nominated for a 2010 MAC Award. She completed her first CD with Miranda Music: The Book Of Love: Live at the Metropolitan Room.
